USUA Flying Club 1 Holiday Party - 4:00PM, Saturday, December 6th, 2008

Greetings,

This year the Club1 holiday party will be on Saturday, December 6th at the Warrenton Airpark clubhouse (directions). Thank you Tom Richards for letting us use your property for the party! The club president and officers hope you will attend and help make the event a cheerful Christmas and holiday celebration for all of our club members.

We will also conduct the monthly meeting that night with the agenda that follows

A. SHORT BUSINESS MEETING
- Guests Recognized - Old Members Recognized- USUA Info
- Flying Exploits - Special Recognition (Solo, First Flights, UL &
Private Pilot Certificates)
- Progress of any Aircraft Kits- Sport Pilot Updates- Statement of Minutes

B. HOLIDAY PARTY AGENDA

  • Food and Drinks:

    MEMBERS WILL PROVIDE:

    DRINKS - fun non-alcoholic & alcoholic tastes, cold or hot
    APPETIZERS - fun finger foods, specialty treats, taste tantalizers....
    MAIN COURSES - some hearty stuff (club will supply some...) for buffet style eating while standing around
    POT LUCK / SIDE DISHES - accompaniments to main course stuff or good buffet style fare, stuff that can be scooped, ladled, plopped, etc.
    DESSERTS - Cookies, pies, cakes, chocolate, etc.

    THE CLUB WILL PROVIDE:

    DECORATIONS - Some festive decorations for the clubhouse
    TABLEWARES - Eating & some serving things (plates, bowls, napkins, utensils, cups, etc.)
    DRINKS - some beer, some wine, sodas, teas, juice, water, maybe cider, coffee. Everyone is welcome to bring beer & booze & wine
    APPETIZERS - dips, cheeses, chips, crackers, nuts, dried fruit, veggie tray, and other nibbles
    MAIN COURSES - Honey Baked Ham, Turkey breast(s), rolls, bread, condiments
    POT LUCK / SIDEDISHES - Club provide some veggie side dish (like potatoes or TBD)
    DESSERTS - some cookies, some chocolate
