Welcome to the USUA FLYING CLUB 1 in Northern Virginia

We are the center for powered ultralight flying in Northern Virginia, USA. If you are new to ultralight flying, this is the place to see real aircraft and talk to live people. If you're an old hand, this is the place to share your experience and promote safe flying. Either way, this is where you can plug into the local networks you need to make recreational light flying in Northern Virginia a part of your life.

FLYING CLUB 1, Inc. was the first club affiliated with the United States Ultralight Association. It is a non-stock, non-profit, Recreational Corporation, dedicated to promoting and supporting recreational light and ultralight aviation. It provides a forum for safety education, for the exchange of technical information, and for the mutual encouragement of flyers in this area.

We have regular monthly meetings year-round; at Centreville High School in the winter and at the Warrenton Airpark in the summer.
